While I’m feeling the Vibe of this 11-11-11 vibration just before the end of the day, I want to take a few moments to address synchronicity. Being able to notice the synchronicities of life as they unfold is a vital part of the manifestation process!
Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events that are apparently causally unrelated or unlikely to occur together by chance and that are observed to occur together in a meaningful manner. The concept of synchronicity was first described in this terminology by Carl Gustav Jung, a Swiss psychologist, in the 1920s.
The concept does not question, or compete with, the notion of causality. Instead it maintains that, just as events may be grouped by cause, they may also be grouped by meaning. A grouping of events by meaning need not have an explanation in terms of cause and effect.
That was a more “technical” explanation, but to break it down… Synchronicity is when you are thinking of someone and then the phone rings, and guess who?! It’s that very same person you were just thinking of on the other end of the line! Most people would call this a coincidence, but when we are speaking in terms of synchronicity, coincidences do not exist. Some people refer to them as “non-coincidences”.
A wonderful book to read to gain a better understanding of synchronicity is The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield. This book, as well as the books that followed, greatly inspired me and opened my eyes to the fact that if you pay attention you can avoid situations and you can also be guided in the direction that is best suited for your goals and aspirations.
Life is a labyrinth, if you go the wrong way you may hit a dead end or even wind up right back where you started. Synchronicities exist to point you in the right direction. For instance, if you are an aspiring artist who wants to display their paintings in art galleries, you may be sitting in a coffee shop when someone bumps into your chair and a business card falls out of their coat pocket. When you pick it up you see that they are a curator of an art gallery, from this point two things can happen…either you ignore it, hand the person their card and go back to sipping your coffee, or you take notice of the synchronicity and you say “I noticed that you are an art curator and I have been looking for a gallery to display my paintings…”
Things like this happen all the time, the only thing you need to do is pay attention and Act when you notice that synchronicity is in effect!
